How to adjust the electronic pressure if it is different with mechanical pressure?
Do not adjust a digital pressure display simply to match a mechanical gauge until you know which reading is correct. Differences can come from units, measuring location, pump cycling, a blocked pressure passage or an instrument fault.
Compare like with like
- Confirm both instruments use the same units. 1 MPa equals 10 bar; psi is a different scale.
- Compare readings at the same operating condition: gun closed versus flowing readings are not interchangeable.
- Check where each instrument measures pressure. A reading at the pump can differ from pressure after a long hose.
- Record the difference at more than one pressure point instead of using a single number.
Check zero before full-scale comparison
Perform the complete pressure-relief procedure and confirm trapped pressure is released before assessing the zero indication. A non-zero reading can involve residual pressure or instrument error; never remove a gauge merely because the display says zero.
If a gauge must be connected or replaced, switch off, isolate and relieve pressure first. Use a pressure-rated assembly and the machine’s service procedure. A competent technician should use a verified reference instrument to establish which indication is wrong.
Display adjustment is model-specific
The original DP-6337iB example showed an older display with a rear adjustment button. That control is not a universal calibration method for every DINO-POWER sprayer. Controller versions and service procedures differ. Do not reach behind a live display or remove a cover to look for a similar button.
Obtain the exact controller instructions and confirm whether the adjustment changes only the indication or also affects pressure regulation. Do not deliberately set the digital reading slightly higher than the gauge as a general rule; both should meet the manufacturer’s specified accuracy.
What a proper service check should establish
- Correct units and a safe zero condition.
- Sound gauge, sensor, pressure passage and connections.
- Agreement with a suitable reference at the required test points.
- Normal pressure control and safe operation after adjustment.
An offset adjustment cannot necessarily correct a sensor with a changing error across the pressure range. Do not conceal overpressure, unstable operation or a damaged sensor by changing the displayed number.
Information to send for assistance
Provide the machine nameplate, controller version, photos of both readings, units and whether the gun was flowing. Review the DP-6337iB model reference only if it matches your equipment. Stop using the machine if pressure regulation is abnormal.
