How to Clean an Airless Sprayer

Firstly, Remove the paint supply bucket from the sprayer. Place your clean, dry bucket onto the spray rig and fill it with water (or paint thinner if cleaning oil-based paint). Turn the sprayer on and aim the nozzle into another five-gallon bucket.

Secondly, Spray water into the target bucket until the water runs out clear. Remove the nozzle tip with your adjustable wrench and clean it thoroughly with water and the toothbrush. Replace the tip onto the sprayer.

Thirdly, Wet a cloth with water and wipe the outside of the sprayer and hoses. Dry the entire unit with the rags. Roll up your hoses and store the unit until the next job.
